A while back, I came up with a story idea for an illustrated book. As I began working on the book's illustrations, I struggled with getting the perspective just right. I wished I could create a model of the scene and characters and then draw the scene from whatever angle was best.
This led me to explore if this could be done with 3D software. I've been fascinated with 3D ever since Pixar developed Toy Story. But learning and affording 3D software I imagined was out of reach.
Then I discovered Blender. It's a fantastic program. And what's even more impressive is that it's open-source and free.
Not only did I begin creating the models, but the project evolved from an illustrated book to exploring the possibility of making a 3D animated short.

In addition to learning the software, I discovered many YouTube channels dedicated to teaching Blender. Being inspired by the YouTubers, I decided to throw my hat in and create Blender learning videos. One of the best ways to learn is to teach.
